The SAPUG End-of-Year networking dinner meeting was held at our usual venue, the Bellevue Doubletree Inn at 818 112th Ave NE, Bellevue, WA (425) 455-1515.

The day followed a new format. The meeting was sponsored by IBM; Bill Winter was there to talk about the latest developments in IBM's U2 family of products.

We also offered an optional, free, in-depth technical seminar from 3:00PM till 5:00PM that day: SAPUG (Seattle Area Pick User Group) and MITS (Management Information Tools, Inc.) held a seminar for Multivalue end-users, IT professionals and other Northwest parties interested in Data Manipulation from their Multivalue database.

MITS is a powerful product that incorporates data extraction, data cube loading, and graphical presentation in a single offering.

The valuable seminar was for current owners of the MITS product as well as those who know they have a need for getting more & better information in a more timely manner. While focused on implementing the MITS multivalue Business Intelligence solution, this seminar was also of interest to anyone grappling with the issues involved in extracting, aggregating, and presenting multivalue data.
